Should I Apologize? - As One (Sassy Girl Chun Hyang OST)
Spoiler In Words Episode 7
Yoon Ho sits Da Ji on a bench under the tree, and asks her on whether she is satisfied on this bench specially meant for her. Da Ji is touched and asked, "Is this ajusshi's own work?"
She then found a scar on his hand and asks, is he injured? He then tells her that they're many scars on his hands, and recounts his childhood memories to her. Da Ji is sadden, and went to hold his hand...
Spoiler In Words Episode 8
At the hotel's jazz bar, Da Ji and Yoon Ho, Dong Joo and Jin Young sat at the same table, listening to the hotel's music while dining. Dong Joo then proceded to thank Jin Young for her warm hospitality. Seeing this, Da Ji felt that the Dong Joo in front of her feels so alien. Suddenly she feels angry, and she gulped down her wine. Dong Joo who sees this and does not approve.
Later when Da Ji excused herself to the bathroom, Dong Joo uses this opportunity to rebuke her, he drags her out and tells her off: that she doesn't even know the difference between wine and water and has no etiquette. Hearing this Da Ji gets mad and retorted, "Whether I am taking water; drinking how much wine OR creating how many troubles, it has nothing to do with you." Dong Joo continues to yell at her, and he accidentally revealed what he really felt.
Chloe Says: While in the latest upcoming episode she may be making a fool out of herself in front of her ex, but at least she looks pretty while doing it ('cause we know that's all that matters):

Spoiler In Words: Paradise Ranch Episode 6
After 4 episodes, I'm pretty sure I'll be watching this faithfully. Though it ain't crack-level, yet. I wonder, will it ever reach that stage? Perhaps this would be like what It's Alright Daddy's Daughter was to me, nice but legal (substance). Which ain't a bad thing, since one would literally go quite mad yearning for the upcoming episodes of a show, if one were addicted.
Brian Joo - Resemble (I did a post rambling about him once, but I can't call myself a fan without ever listening to his songs, can I? I finally got around to sample his songs, and I found this to be my favorite.)Spoiler In Words
Because Da Ji has sprained her foot and is in pain, she just wants to sit on the hay. But Dong Joo insisted they call a taxi, prompting Da Ji to tell him off in a brassy manner: "It's just 10 minutes away, why would you want to spend money unnecessarily?!" Dong Joo did not say a word, he could only sigh in relief.
Looking at Da Ji limping away like that, Dong Joo couldn't bear it and approaches her. He offers to piggyback her, but Da Ji stubbornly insists to walk on her own. But in the end she reluctantly lets him piggyback her as they head forward.
Meanwhile, Yoon Ho was driving when he saw the two of them together. He grows anxious at the sight of Dong Joo carrying her...

Spoiler In Words: Paradise Ranch Episode 5
The show is all about Creating Destiny(ies)!
I Promise You - Park Hyo Shin (the chorus is so addictive! I promise you lalalalala~)
I gotta admit, this show is starting to get to me, I never fail to laugh whenever the chickens-on-the-golf-course is mentioned, despite the "joke" being mentioned several times. But more than that, I even teared up at some parts (or maybe it's just me having a weak moment; must be that something in my eye). hellochloe crying for a drama = good sign.
Spoiler In Words
President Yang wants Da Ji to let Forrest participate in the race, the surprised Da Ji exclaimed: "It can't even walk properly yet, how can you expect it to go racing?" Then President Yang got angry and said: "Who made me spent 20 million won to buy it?" But Da Ji remain firm in her stance: "Even so, making it join the race is pushing it a bit too much!"
He reminded her that HE was the one who bore the expenses for the U.S trip, and so he wants Forrest to be brought to the Racing Association for a checkup. Da Ji could only stay silent...

Spoiler In Words: Paradise Ranch Episode 3 & 4
Journey - DBSK feat. SNSD's Seohyun (Paradise Ranch OST)
...and I heave a sigh of relief. Sure, it isn't as good as I'll like it to be, but it's nowhere as bad as I feared it would be either. To me the biggest weakness is not Changmin's acting or anything, but rather the lackluster storyline. It feels a bit to simplistic on its part, so no pulling factor on that count (yet). Two more episodes to go, and we shall see. I hope they have more flashbacks in store for us, 'cause I'm very invested to know how the young couple came into such a state (plus they were super cute then).
To ilikehim: Pssh! Tell me this is not the cutest cowboy you ever met!
Spoiler In Words Episode 3
Dong Joo's grandfather tells him that it will be easy to win the hearts of the residents, as long as he moves in. When asked on where he'll be moving in, grandpa answered: "As long as you move in to the ranch, we'll be able to fix the resort's image ruin by your father AND get to procure the agreement letter from the residents." His answer throws Dong Ju into a fit.
Da Ji isn't any happier to hear that piece of info either. Absolutely NOT, she says, the house is already owned by her.
Spoiler In Words Episode 4
The four of them dine in the open air at the terrace. Da Ji and Yoon Ho sat on one side, with the other side being Jin Young and Dong Joo. Da Ji realizes the awkwardness of the whole situation, and glances up at Yoon Ho in embarrassment.
Yoon Ho tells them Jin Young and him graduated from the same school. Jin Young then told Dong Joo that before she went to France, she was in New York studying Business Admin. As they chat Yoon Ho continued to praise her, "So you were interested in Business Admin, I heard you changed to interior design. At first I thought it was as a hobby, but I saw the upcoming resort proposal and its pretty decent." But Dong Joo doesn't look too happy at the familiarity between Yoon Ho and Jin Young...

Spoiler In Words: Paradise Ranch Episode 2
Yikes! It's premiering today already, anyone getting butterflies in their stomach? I am. I am prepared - have set the appropriate level of expectation. I'm quite positive about it all: If Changmin is wooden like what they said of Taecyeon's performance, I think I can take it, since I thought Tc is fine in Dream High. And if I get enamored over Giant dude - that's it. Game Over. I'm following the show.

Da Ji is sorry she owes a favor to Yoon Ho again, she tilts her head and says, "Ajusshi has appeared like fate." Yun Ho asks her whether this is the ranch she has mentioned previously, but when Da Ji answered she seemed upset, confusing Yoon Ho. Seeing his expression she sensed his puzzlement, and changes her reply: "The situation will be resolved soon."
She continues, asking him whether he has already decided on where to stay. Yun Ho answered he's scheduled to stay at DI Resort. She gets angry and tells him not to go there again.

Spoiler In Words: Paradise Ranch Episode 1 + Official Trailer
Doesn't this look lovely quirky? It's amazing Yeon Hee can still rock the hair, that would have been fugly on someone else. I'm sold on the young couple-divorced storyline but reserve my comments on the cast -I won't be greedy, I just wish for Changmin to ace this (since it's imperative for me to like his character).
Err, I'm not sure whether three sentences qualifies as a spoiler, but since this is what is given by SBS, who am I to say anything? At least I don't have to crack my head like for IADD's spoilers *shrugs*First watch the trailer and I'll give my three sentences:
How was it? Good eh? (*not referring to the acting but the no. of shirtless scenes)
SIW for Episode 1
Dong Joo and Da Ji runs into the crowd, all the while holding hands. Da Ji's dad pushes her luggage and follows the two. While running, Da Ji loses her shoe, and after a moment of hesitation, she decides to go barefoot altogether (and the point of this sentence being...?).
Paradise Ranch 101
Changmin is Dong Joo
Yeon Hee is Da Ji
Yoo Hana (I still erroneously think she's Chinese) is Jin Young
Giant dude is Yoon Ho
Dong Joo and Da Ji married when she was 19. It ended in divorce. Six years later they meet again in Jeju-do. Now Da Ji has Yoon Ho by her side, and Dong Joo has Jin Young. It sounds like they have moved on. Or have they really?

Another January Drama Offering: Paradise Ranch
PR is one drama I would be so much more excited over if only I remained blissfully ignorant of the cast. Entirely shot pre-broadcast, this drama boasts of having a breathtaking scenery and stellar soundtrack. I'm not so much for shows filmed in pretty places just for the sake of featuring the picturesque spot, but I'm a sucker for OSTs, ESPECIALLY the good ones.
The story sounds nice (the warm-your-insides kind): "A divorce couple returns to their old house and realize they may still have feelings for each other." And I heard it's going to be a REAL love square (read: not a fake one like M3).
On the cast: I'm scared. Bloody petrified. I haven't watch any of them before (not much), Giant guy is new to me, ditto for Yoo Hana and Lee Yeon Hee. Shim Changmin scares me the most 'cause he looks so wooden, it's hard to imagine him having any other expressions other than "blank" (I'm just judging from appearances though).
The only performance I could critique is Lee Yeon Hee's in kmovie Millionaire's First Love, and I thought she held her own against Hyun Bin there. I especially love the 'dancing with the ladle' part.
But what's for sure is: I WILL check it out (after all, how else will I find a hidden gem if I don't risk failure?); being categorized as cheerful melodrama sounds interesting enough (never thought it was possible before SG). And I have a date for you guys: 24th January 2011.
