I'm always looking forward to my weekly installment of City Hunter; the great show notwithstanding, there's The Comments LOOL. Vikiers have such a sense of humor that always catches me off-guard, and if I happen to be in a cinema with this bunch, I don't think I can keep a straight face watching the show. Not to mention my eyes keep straying to the top rather than the bottom screen... (sorry subbers!)

Yun Seong who's shot drops to the ground like he's falling, and barely escapes with a rope. Nana chases through the broken windows, but fails to catch up because of the passed out Seo Yong Hak. At this time, Yeong Ju arrives.

Although he's a bit late in catching up to Yun Seong, but he's only a split second too late in chasing the car. On the other hand, with his wounded body, Yun Seong drags himself to Se Hui's clinic.

Na Na sees Yun Seong in what looks like him staying together with Se Hui. Her whole body cannot help but stiffens in shock, after which she left the scene. She is also reluctant to pick up his calls.

On the other hand, Yeong Ju scours the immigration's CCTV for more clues; finds that Jin Pyo seemed suspicous, and thus went ahead to find him.

The hotness of Lee Min Ho aside, this show has other hot guys too, lol. Whether it is the driven-by-revenge ahjusshi, cop-no-more still dunno-what's-his-name or the righteous prosecutor, it's hotguysdramalandia. *whistle*

SG's Cameo Stills Released

I've wax-ed lyrical about the upcoming cameo, so I don't think there's anymore info left to dig. Although, in some angles, don't you think he looks like Kang Ji Hwan? No?

Waxing Lyrical About The Drama:

Everytime I watch this show, I am struck awe by its execution. It's simply brilliant, and I wonder why before this no one thought about using a gender swap in such a way rather than the usual Main Plot where the entire show is about the two couple living in each other's body. 

I think the main reason why they marketed it as a body-swapping gender bender fun is so as to not alarm the viewers when it ACTUALLY HAPPENS. Imagine if we were not prepared about it, drama forums will be filled with, "It jumped the shark! It jumped the shark!" you know? And labeling it with a melo tag sort of prepares us for what's gonna come.


There have been many criticisms on Joo Won being an ass (which I don't deny he is), but in a way I found that refreshing that it's not all bubbles and rainbows. It IS reality after all, and he won't be your usual run of the mill kdrama chaebols, where the man abandons everything to be with the women he loves. Awww. Earth calling romantic dreamers.

But he cares about her more than he lets on, as we witnessed in Episode 5's MTB race where he lost to Oska because he was worried about Ra Im, so I don't doubt he that he WILL eventually do that (that is, the 'abandon everything' part). 


And Joo Won's journey to that path that leads him to be OTP with Ra Im is only part of the fun. But for now, he doesn't deserves such an awesome girl like Ra Im.

Lee Jun Hyuk Cameos For Secret Garden

I Am Legend fans out there, this is your wish come true! 
And for those City Hallers: We didn't get City Hall's Kim Sun-ah (although they did had a lousy shout-out), but I would gladly settle for the cutie pie assistant. Dare we hope for Cha Seung Won next? 


And guess what kind of character he plays? He will be Ra-Im's ex begging for a second chance. Just kidding. He plays Oska's friend. But here's the twist: He appears in the 'past'. 'Past' as in flashback. Looks like he is the reason behind why Oska becomes a crybaby everytime he sees Yoon Seul.


Today (25/11/2010), a Secret Garden official revealed that he would be appearing in Episode 8 (aww shucks! not this weekend) as Oska's memory and Episode 1011 [edited post airing] in Yoon Seul's memory.


On the 24th, he came to the location site in Haenam County of Jeollanam-do to shoot his scenes. It's a two days job, and that means he'll finish shooting today and will be flying to Japan for his fan-meeting session tomorrow.


Just a tidbit (but I guess you guys already know it, being the highly informed drama fans that you are): Lee Jun Hyuk is doing this cameo 'cause he's buddies with Secret Garden PD-nim Shin Woo Chul and screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, both of whom worked on City Hall as well.


Plus, Spoiler pics for Episode 6: Did you know Kim Sa Rang is Miss Korea 2000? No wonder. She's got a hot bod!
