Love, Now: Episode 5

OMG OMG. Such a brief moment, but my heart went doki-doki when he buttoned up that sharp suit of his and walks down the flight of stairs. Yes, I am an unabashed fan of Sudden Separations, because when the OTP finally meet again... EPIC. The idea of that "first encounter" always gets me jumpin' in my seat ala Tom Cruise.

EPISODE 5 RECAP
It's just the beginning of the show and we're already in a juicy subplot (feel my sarcasm dripping?) Shi De's sister shows us a side that her readers will never get to see - her throwing a hissy fit because Shi De is married (and she's not). She attempts to pull off his ring, and forbids him to see "that woman" again. Can you believe this woman - who are you, his wife?
It hadn't occurred to me until now - Shi De's immediate family are all females - grandma, mom, older sis and aunt. With all the yelling and female hysterics, it's a wonder he can remain sane, but I suppose that's the beauty of being perfect. He handles all the DRAMA! (older sis is so bratty) with aplomb, being the Voice Of Reason to his sister's Voice of... uh, nonsensical tantrums. A part of me is just thankful he didn't develop a doormat personality (Li Da Ren, you still traumatize me). If he did, it will be some weird alternate universe where Shi De and Yi Ru are besties where they wait, wait and wait.
Grandma and mom keeps pestering Shi De for more info, but the latter replies maybe later, he needs to find her first. It's cute how grandma and mom already likes Yi Ru by association. Grandma: "Let's find my granddaughter-in-law as soon as possible!" (I love how they're unfazed that she's AWOL in the first place - must be a common thing in this universe).

Older sis is not so buoyant about it - she tells him that his marriage is doomed for Divorceville - fireworks like theirs will soon burn off, because love needs a stable foundation. Shi De retorts that he'll never give up on her, because their love is indeed stable. Eat that, ya bitter old maid!

At work, Yi Ru has yet another reason to blow her top off. Qi Ming's company has just been slapped with a lawsuit by the very same company they're submitting the proposal to. What will they think of this?! She goes beserk.
(Hee, why do I get the feeling that Shi De's company hands out summons left and right - remember the fatherly figure employee in Episode 1?)
Qi Ming's reasoning: "But they're such a large company, surely they won't be so petty?" Yi Ru is not convinced. The proposal is actually the least of their worries, since they are seeking damages for up to a whopping 800 000 TWD (approximately 27 400 US dollars). Their company will not make it through.

The employees listens in to their conversation - what a quirky firm, heh - a potpourri of employees ranging from a grandpa (who looks so old he gives Dumbledore a run for his money), an ajumma and a bubbly geek. They're worried for their future. One's too old to go anywhere else (no kidding), while the other has three kids to feed. All hope rests on Yi Ru now. They all look at her expectantly.
FINE. They might as well kiss that account goodbye, but she'll try to get the company to dismiss the lawsuit. A round of applause for Yi Ru! But it quickly dies beneath her glare.

Knock knock - Aunt is here to tell Shi De that the meeting for the advertising proposals will commence in an hour. She also not so subtly hints that although all three proposals are creative, there's one in particular she really, reallyyy likes.
Shi De's won't hear of it - cronyism? Not his thing. (Then, how bout nepotism? It's your WIFEY, yo.) Aunt assures him that she's not partial, she just likes this person for her work ethics, so won't he give that company a chance?

Yi Ru is SO glad to have this opportunity to speak to the General Manager (and from a viewer's standpoint, can I just say, huzzah, Aunt likes her too!). But that was short-lived joy for Aunt mentioned those dreaded three syllables: Lan. Shi. De.

NO. FREAKING. WAY.

Surely it's just a coincidence. He probably just shares the same name as that person, right?
Nope. Not in dramaland.

That knowledge, compounded with the flashback of him at the resort saying:
Shi De: "To be deceived by someone you trust is worst that a betrayal [from a stranger]. I hate being lied to."
... warrants a nervous breakdown from the heroine. She is deader than roadkill. Granted, he doesn't know that she is not sick, yet - but will he believe that she's a victim in all of this too?

Oh, well. It's too late to turn back now - the meeting is on, like right now. She reluctantly heads to the meeting room while Shi De is already tapping his fingers impatiently. Not a good sign.

Bubbly Geek introduces himself to the lukewarm cold audience and Ms. Yang... omo, WHERE is she? A cop-out? Yi Ru, whyyyy?! You got me so excited.
Looks like she ran to the bathroom cubicle to hide, and is now pulling a string of toilet paper like it's her imaginary lifeline. Poor bubbly geek is left to stutter the proposal to the unimpressed Shi De, who gives his aunt a look, Is this your recommendation? Aunt squirms in embarrassment.

Bubbly geek sets out to find Yi Ru, but Shi De tells him to forget it - they don't have to come back anymore. Shi De: "Next!" That's when Yi Ru, standing next to him, clears her throat. He then looks up...

To find this:
Another cop-out?!? *dies* Alright, the third one will be shame on me.

Not knowing who she is, Shi De harshly tells her that wearing hats indoors is a very rude thing to do. She on the other hand, changes her voice and pulls a Taiyou no Uta about her being allergic to the sunlight. Aunt smooth things over and Shi De reluctantly says he'll judge for himself whether their proposal is worth the pardon.

Game on. But her "new" voice proves to be too much a distraction, and Shi De is mentally rolling his eyes, I'm sure. But in the middle of the WTF Voice proposal, he sees her doing this:
She did that when during their wedding night too! It's her nervous gesture and aww, it's sweet how he recognizes her through that one small idiosyncrasy. He stands up. Walking towards her, could it be? written all over his face. I half-expected him to just tear off that hideous cap/mask thing she is wearing, but NO. Show wants us to simmer in frustration a little longer (it had better be just a little, grrr).

She runs out the very second she finished her proposal. Uh, was anyone listening in the first place? There goes their account.

Chloe Says
LOL can I just give a shoutout to Bubbly Geek for being such a scene stealer. He is so cute! His mannerisms remind me of that cartoon, what's the name... oh, yeah. POWER PUFF GIRLS. He is so chirpy and everybody just staring at him thinking, what's with this guy?

Love, Now: Episode 4

I know what y'all are thinking: Chloeee, how can you not have THE *nudge nudge wink wink* SCENE, the kiss(es) of dreams, the 10 over 10 kiss as the main picture to grace this post? Blasphemy!
Oho! Before you task me to sit in a corner, hear this humble viewer out. We all saw that kiss coming, BUT I betcha no one saw the tsukommi potential in our hero. This breakthrough scene, henceforth called "How To Get Your Pesky Matchmaker of A Grandmother Die Of Heart Attack 101" is when Shi De gets back from the Phillipines; Mom and Grandma is still picking out blind date candidates for him. This gesture is of course denied by Shi De, for he is now a married man. Says Shi De of the straight face:
"I'll introduce [my wife] to you when I find her." *flashes ring*
And with that, he heads up to his room, leaving the womenfolk dumbfounded (just a second though) and then abuzz with speculation. I DIE. Never mind the sudden marriage, it's as if losing A HUMAN BEING is an everyday occurrence to this man.

EPISODE 4 RECAP
Okay now, here's what everyone is waiting for... drumroll please:
TA-DAH! Happy now? See it in it all its official still glory, since none of my weaksauce screencapping will ever suffice. THIS, director-sans, PDnims and dao yans, is how you start a show. Who else had to pause before The Kiss because you were too busy giggling? Never in my life have I been more glad to be proved wrong - man has got nothing against exchanging bodily fluids (TMI? Sorry). So uh, that was just some misguided attempt at being a gentleman on his part (or maybe he's just super sneaky by employing reverse psychology. In which case, genius! I knew you were perfect muahahaha).

It's also good to see hear that they've rectify that godawful BG music from the last episode - Yen-j FTW! It's a tad too loud though and I can't hear them say:
Shi De: "Yi Ru, I-"
Yi Ru: "To be married to you... I am in bliss."
To Shi De, that was the OK he needed to free himself from whatever that's shackling him before. And presumably they made sweet love (give the couple some privacy, will ya?)

But all good things must come to an end, because shit is hitting the fan in 3... 2... 1...
Samantha (Yi Ru's friend who works at the resort) is here to sneak in the message she couldn't before. Gah, I wish I could reach my hand into the screen and tear the note into pieces. I'm not ready for my OTP to part yet! Can we go to Bora Bora for round 2 of the honeymoon? *cries*

Before she could make the getaway, the happy couple sees her lurking outside their room; Shi De leaves the two girls so they could catch up. "Why the long face?" Yi Ru asks her. It's true that she's dying, but she is happy now and plans to spend the rest of her days that way. In a small voice, Samantha tells her the truth.

Blissfully unaware to what's going down, Shi De plans to register their marriage once they get back to Taiwan. But how to say? "Let's become husband and wife for real." Is it too mushy? (Me: No! Go for itttt) But when he goes back to get wifey, he finds this instead:
Good lord. Who hits their friends anyone like that? If that doesn't make Shi De think twice about Yi Ru, nothing will. He finds out from her that Yi Ru has gone back to Taiwan.

(Also, is anyone else bristling at the injustice? When Yi Ru gets back to do some avenging, Qi Ming gets off with just a few dubious pain patches on his arm. Not that I condone violence, but no fair! Not only does his face came out unscathed, he gets an egg too! Poor Samantha.)

Back in Taiwan, we are once again treated to Shi De in a suit, with a side of cold city man:
I MISSED YOU! Sure, his considerate lover persona is every woman's dream come true, but his glare and sexy threatening voice does funny things to me, heheh. I cannot decide whether I like him more as a ruthless businessman or the thoughtful, kind and gentle pursuer. Sigh, drama problems. I think it's the combination of the two that makes his character so intoxicating.

CRAZY, STUPID
The following events can only be described as... weirddd:

Man sees cardboard cutout, seemingly entranced. He reaches out for it, lingering at her throat. The cardboard cutout lady is Shi De's older sister; relationship expert and author of the appropriately titled "Love Now."
He queues up for her autograph session. It's his turn now, but instead of handing a book over to sign, he gives her a piece of paper with his name written on it - the man is ZHENG YU XIANG (Harry Zhang Huai Qiu - of the Da Mouth fame!). He says, "You don't know me. But from this moment onwards, you will remember my name." For the show's sake, I really hope he's not a psychotic despot. He then tries to get behind the table that's separating them, but thank god for the world's fastest security (seriously, they appeared out of nowhere).

After the event, man proceeds to follow her car. With a bicycle.

Man gets stabbed (I wish).

Man gets off with a warning.

Man smirks, "Now you know my name."

So... yeah, what am I supposed to think of this? Am I supposed to think this cute? If he's sooo in lurrrve, why do I feel like he's out to murder someone?

LOVE
At home, he drops the bomb on the ladies, a bomb which I've waxed lyrical about (see top of post). Of course, now that he's home the first thing he does is hold THE photograph. As a seasoned drama viewer, I was immediately on tenterhooks. Wait for it...

A FLASHBACK! (I love how the scene starts with him posing for said photograph. And ooh, nice bangs.) We see that the Shi De of yore does not differ much from his current self. Low EQ (still the same) and exam-orientated (now a workaholic); qualities which makes him a nerd, but a very good looking one.
Exam time - he may have the smarts, but unlike ISWAK's Zhi Shu, he's susceptible to human emotions. I like that he's nervous. The flustered Shi De only brought a grand total of TWO pens to the hall, and both are out of ink. What to do?! He looks around, and is about to ravage his bag when help arrives in the form of a very pretty young lady:
Heart palpitating - it was love at first sight. The cynic in me begs to differ: could it be the suspension bridge effect? I mean, the man was already nervous!

After the exam, Shi De calls after her ("Student!") but he's stuck amidst the sea of people and she's already gone by the time he manages to get out of the hall.

The flashback ends with him holding the same pen in his hands right now:
Shi De: "You left as suddenly as you appeared."

Zhang Jie's "Die Young"

Wow, the Jay Chou influence really shows. And like my all-time favorites Qing Hua Ci (Blue & White Porcelain) and Fa Ru Xue (Hair Like Snow), it's almost criminal to listen to this song without watching the MV. Lucky for me, this MV is filled with The Pretty, plus it's pretty low on the angst factor unlike Jay Chou's videos which always manages to weave a whole freakin' tragic love story in mere 3 minutes, leaving my heart an empty hollow shell at the end *sobs*.
With traditional music influence and the theme of "early death", I can see why this track is included in the OST for kdrama The Moon Embraces The Sun (Chinese version of the OST, I mean. Yeah, I had no idea they did those either.)

Title: Die Young
Lyricist: Zhang Jie (aka Chase Chang)
Composer: Zhang Jie
Translated Lyrics:
We thought we could always let go, forget, change
The mayhem throughout the journey
Yearning has once again light a candle in the night for me

Who knows what weathered memories will look like

Memories on your face, quietly growing
The road of no return, ah
Tears flowing
 Perhaps we're similar
What kind of moonlight will you be forlorn under?

The road of no return, ah

Thinking of you still makes me a little braver
Wounds throughout the journey gradually forgotten

We thought we could always let go, forget, change

The mayhem throughout the journey
Yearning has once again light a candle in the night for me

Who knows what weathered memories will look like

Memories on your face, quietly growing
The road of no return, ah
Tears flowing
Perhaps we're similar
What kind of moonlight will you be forlorn under?

The road of no return, ah

Thinking of you still makes me a little braver
Wounds throughout the journey gradually forgotten

The road of no return, ah

Tears flowing
Perhaps we're similar
What kind of moonlight will you be forlorn under?

The road of no return, ah

Thinking of you still makes me a little braver
Wounds throughout the journey gradually forgotten

Chloe Says
This track is Zhang Jie's favorite among all the other songs in his Clown/Hero album. Inspired during his stay in Beijing, this soon led to a song set in Shanghai during 1945; a chaotic period in history (ie. The End Of Old Shanghai).

Love, Now: Episode 3 + Ep 4 Preview

Just when I thought I've nailed down the type of hero Shi De is (tsundere, perfectionist, pretty much perfect), the drama throws me a curveball:
What exactly is he doing with the toilet bowl? You want to know, you read this post.

EPISODE 3 RECAP
To answer her question from the previous episode ("Marrying a dying woman... is it worth it?"), he assures her that "the things I've set my mind on, it's all worth it." He tells her that dying doesn't come with a notice, it just comes. I might get into an accident tomorrow and end up dying before you, he says. So don't let unpredictable things get in the way, just live in the moment.
I guess seeing the wedding dress made the bride jittery. Holding her face, he says, "Look at me." He caresses her face and tells her to wear that dress; he'll be waiting for her. "Till we meet," he whispers. (Hey, that's playing dirty! How can anyone say no to that.)

Like I said, I really admire the heroine. She doesn't seem to register The Hotness AT ALL.

The wedding turned out exactly like her dream... almost, that is. A little more sheen of "awkward" (on her part):
Yi Ru says her "I do" before the minister finishes her vow, so Shi De had to ask the minister to repeat the whole thing from the beginning for his nervous bride.
(At first I thought this was a scene to show off George's sexay American accent, but I really think it could've been an improv by George Hu. He was looking at the aisle. Annie was looking at the aisle. Aisle = where the director is??? Why am I even discussing this lol)

With the pouring of sand into one vessel, they are pronounced husband and wife. "You may kiss the bride." (Take that, other couples in dramaland! How many of you can claim that your first kiss is on the altar, hahah.) But that was before I saw this...
(Houston, we have a problem. I think I may have underestimated the hero's OCD on cleanliness.)
Like me, she is disappointed (I can hear her thinking, "What the fuck did he just do with my veil?"). She kisses him this time (without the obstruction of the veil of course). Shi De is surprised at first, but seems to take it well enough. Whew! All hope rests on Yi Ru now. Do not fail us, girl.

It's night time, but tonight's no ordinary night. It's WEDDING NIGHT. He kisses...
her hand and bid goodbye (OMFG. I am dying of laughter). Yi Ru has that face again, the "what the fuck did he just do" look. Talk about a whiplash! After a WHOLE EPISODE of him declaring his undying love, now all he wants to do is first base? Poor Yi Ru must be bewildered.

He turns to leave, but she doesn't let go of his hand. Cue awkward pause.
Yi Ru: "We are married."
Shi De: "Yeah..."
Awkward pause continues.

"So... your room or mine?" she bravely ventures. After what seemed like a million years, he answers: "You... what do you think?"
A non-answer, but at least he didn't say no.

His room it is. While he showers, she is berates herself for being so shameless. Now on to the other side of the door...
Although the shower is on, we see that he is not in fact having a bath, but procrastinating about... yunno. "Is this really okay?" (oh, don't mind me, my head is just connected to the table.)

I seriously did NOT see this arc coming. As he mulled over the issue, Shi De seeks solace in the arms of...
... a TOILET BOWL. I die. He spent a minute there - I timed - checking out the toilet bowl's features (did I just see him SHUSH a toilet bowl?)

But it makes sense. Since Shi De has no idea what to do with his personal life, he turns to his work instead (his company sells bathroom fixtures).

Hey, everyone has their own way of de-stressing. Don't laugh (gimme gif links please).

When he finally comes out of the shower, Yi Ru is about to die from embarrassment. Is he not into her? I would've thought so to if I were in her shoes. She runs out but hits his chest instead, causing him to fall over to the bed, bringing her down with him.
Shi De: "Uh, that is... I just wanted to fulfil your dream. We don't really have to do this."
SEE WHAT I MEAN? Don't blame the girl for leaving you when she finds out that she doesn't have liver cancer. All evidence points to him merely being a good samaritan.
As he heads out, Yi Ru thanks him for all he has done. He looks happy at that, but I am shaking my head at the turn of events.

THE SWEET
The next morning, he wakes her up to a breakfast he prepared (arranging stuff counts too) as per one of her dying wishes. She is surprised, but Shi De simply says that he does this everyday for her, so why is she so surprised? (So it's like playing make-believe, isn't it? It looks real, feels real, but is it really?)

But dayum, they really look good together. Whether it's wading near Willy's Rock:

Or just lying at the beach (which is my favorite honeymoon scene btw - love the shakiness of the hand-held camera that brought a sense of realism):

Another wish ticked off the list: He presents her with a stuffed toy crab (for her tummy) and maternity wear so they could play pretend:
Shi De: "You're now 31 and five months pregnant." (I don't see how this is fun, but if they think it is, then it's fine by me)

THE BITTER
This is the shit that will soon hit the fan. You see, the original Cancer Scare plan was:

Scare Yi Ru -> Philippines -> see letter in hotel room no. 308 -> happy hols

but it became:
Yi Ru's friend: "Who the heck is Johnny Depp?"

Scare Yi Ru -> Philippines -> met Shi De -> changed to hotel room no. 106 -> got married (happy hols?)

The end result is the same (kinda?), but how long will this happiness last?

THE SIZZLING (and puzzling)
Touched by the scrapbook he made (on the life she had envisioned it to be), Yi Ru runs into the shower Shi De is CURRENTLY USING (lucky us, Shi De doesn't lock the door). She kisses him passionately and I am puzzled over the foreboding music in the background. Talk about a mood killer, heh.

Next Up (Episode 4 Preview: "Thank You For The Memories"):
I can't tell how the next episode will go down... is he going to be mad? How will he face her? Will he be all professional (the "cold city man") or that sweet guy at the beach? If he does pursues her, will she agree to a relationship, a real one this time? Oh, the possibilities!

Love, Now: Episode 2

Alas, not wedded yet. This episode is The Date, and one wonders how Shi De can be such a smooth operator when all things considered, he's not the romancin' type. WHERE do you get all your lines, boy?
I also love how Yi Ru seems to be immune to his looks, judging him by his actions instead. Instead of this show being caricaturish with the heroine being swept off her feet, time and time again she asks him, are you sure? and brings up a very valid point: "Marrying a dying woman... is it worth it?"

IN THE MOOD FOR...
Jiro Wang - "我應該去愛妳" (I should love you)

EPISODE 2 RECAP
She doesn't know it yet, but Yi Ru is telling him all the things she wants in a relationship. Shi De, pay close attention now:
Yi Ru: "At 28, I'll meet my true love, just like my parents. We'll spend each day happily, and because we love each other, we'll soon make up if we fight. We'll marry at 30, and he'll wake me up every morning to a breakfast that he made, and he'll drive me to work. At 32, we'll have kids, once every year. I think I'd make a good mom. I'll watch them play and grow everyday."
That should've been her life, she laments. Why? WHY LIVER CANCER. She cries, I munch popcorn. Heh, it's hard to be sad when you know she doesn't really have the dreaded C-word, and all you want is to see how this will get the OTP to be chummy with each other like in the opening theme song of the show. Bring forth the relationship hijinks, I say!

Shi De must have heard me, because he then holds her and says: "Let's get married." Woohoo! He tells her to think about it.

Do you choose a guy you know very well is a USELESS bum, or a guy you don't know at all, but seems to be an all-around nice guy? Looks aside, hello, do you even have to think about it? But apparently Yi Ru prefers familiarity because she calls Qi Ming (that's the second lead's name, in case you've forgotten - I know I did) and asks him to marry her. He fakes a "Sorry I can't hear you" and hangs up. Bleh. Such a loser, this guy.
Cold feet already? Well at least that shows that she is seriously considering Shi De's impromptu proposal. Nah, she second-guesses herself. Even Qi Ming, for whom she has done so much wouldn't marry her, so how would a mere stranger like Shi De would, right?

Wrong. She walks down the sandy aisle, smiling. As he turns to face her, he offers his hand. She reaches out - hand trembling at first, but steadies as she found his.
That small gesture did it - I cried happy tears.

... only to find out it's a dream. YAH! Do not play with my feelings like that, Show! (Caveat: I'd like to add that I knew it was a dream - it was rather abrupt - but then I paused as I had something to do; and when I resumed I had promptly forgotten about the suspicious timing, LOL.) Dangnabit, I'm such a sucker.

The next morning, she thought she wouldn't see him again, well she thought wrong. He shows up to her table with a violin to boot, playing a very squeaky "Happy Birthday" (no wonder she shrinks in embarrassment).
Wait, how does he know that it's her birthday? (she must have forgotten about the crying fest by the beach) Shi De: "It's a given that I should remember my girlfriend's birthday." She looks around the empty restaurant. "Me?" she asks, incredulous.

Didn't she say she wanted to meet her true love at 28, and embark on a grand romance? He tells her, matter-of-factly that they met at the airport, it was love at first sight and that they started dating on the first minute of her 28th birthday. (That sounds kinda creepy, but I assure you, he says it in a tongue-in-cheek manner.) He drags her out for a date.
She says she can't, for she has a friend to see. He does not believe her, until he lurks around and sees her asking about her friend (who works at the resort) at the reception. (Again, not as creepy as it sounds.) He apologizes for not believing her. Yi Ru accepts his apology, since she CANNOT stand liars as well. Those who lied to her will be sorry they ever met her. (I am highlighting this seemingly discordant scene - both cannot stand liars - because something tells me it will be important later.)

She ends up going on a date with him, because said friend is on leave. This was cute:

But I think this was the moment she started to fall for him:
(In the bottle, a huge paper star that says, "Keep your smile.")

And the third rocket bottle was the bomb:
No two shells are the same, each is one of a kind. And to be whole, a half shell needs to meet its perfect other half... just like us. She tells him that he doesn't have to go this far, but he shushes her.
Shi De: "Give me a chance to keep your smile. Yi Ru, will you marry me?"

Sorry, she just can't - it's all too sudden. What about the fact that she's sick? And what about the future?

Don't think about it, he says. Nike's motto is the way to go. "You don't have to worry about anything. Just remember this moment. The love we have for each other. That's enough."

She nods, and they hug. MANSEI!!!

Meanwhile, back at home....
Lil' sis and Qi Ming sneezes (they say if you sneeze, that means someone is thinking/talking bad about you) while Papa's right eye keeps twitching (It's good or bad luck, depending on which eye). Is this the calm before the storm?

Love, Now: Episode 1

If the pilot is anything to go by, I'm in deep trouble. Because this show promises to be addictive as hell, and probably just as nourishing. Abscenes, *cough* I mean the absence of second-hand embarrassment is a prerequisite of mine when it comes to twdramas, and to my relief I haven't had the urge to hit pause in the middle of the show (except that one time. Toilet break, ahem.)
My only complain is the BG (i.e background) music, and I daresay this wouldn't be my last. I guess at this point, I'd have to hand in the towel and accept this as part and parcel of a twdrama. But sweet jesus in heaven, WHY?? It's 2012 and cheesy BG music is still an integral part in twdramas WTF.

Ex-Boyfriend: Episode 3

Episode 2 left me disgruntled (is this Taming of The Shrew redux?), but HELLO Episode 3! I am so ON this bandwagon. So many surprising things in this episode: Chun Jiao, whose voice had only three ranges before (YELL, YELL, and YELL) shows that she has got a kick-ass Contemplative Narration Voice that rivals that of Rainie Yang's. I got what I asked for and was left crying in that scene, and as you know, tears = approval in my book. Lead actress Gina Lee has got superb comic timing which caught me by surprise (read: spit-take) since she has been so straight-laced and severe throughout the show. Damn, girl sure can bring on the funny.

My No.1 Enemy in Dramaland.

If you're reading this post, chances are, you've been loyally tuning in to In Time With You. And chances are, these two cutie pattoties has stolen your heart. And now said heart is being stomped on by a certain Ms. Xu.

I FEEL YOU.

LET'S DROWN IN OUR TEARS TOGETHER T_T
