Secret Garden Twitter Updates

Whad'ya know? Another celeb tweet. Since I expect many more in the future, I shall regularly update this post. But you guys don't have to dig the archives for it -I'll set it to show up as Latest Posts. And the newest tweets will be on top, with the previous at the bottom.


Tweet #4: Hey, what a surprise! Even Go Hyun Jung is watching SG, is what she tweeted today (16/1/2011).

Tweet #3: Looks like someone also agrees with Episode 12's 
The Stare being epic! This time it's Writer-nim's good buddy and actress Kim Jung Eun (who twice starred in the writer's Lovers Trilogy -first being Lovers in Paris and then in Lovers).

Tweet #2: About Writer Kim's husband threatening to divorce her if she kills off Joo Won (tee hee. So will the grounds for divorce be "irreconcilable differences"?). Twitted right after Episode 12's broadcast, he said to his writer wifey:

"Will Joo Won die? You'd dare try that? I'll divorce you!" ㅋㅋ

Keke. I like her husband already.

Tweet #1: Park Han Byul is in love with SG...and so is the rest of Korea. Just a tweet from another star who has caught the SG disease. 

She tweeted on the 18th: 

"Today is SG's broadcast day! Aigoo! Foam that makes one completely excited!~"

SG Finale Dinner

*Sigh* Don't you wish you were there? The perfect way to end this epic drama - with the stars themselves in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. If this show were aired live here in Malaysia, I would wear an "I LOVE SG" T-shirt, and make my family wear it too while we watch the final episode. Le sigh, wouldn't that be wonderful... let a girl dream, will ya?

SG Bye Bye: A Collection of Memorabilia

(Updated!) and An Announcement: There will be a special edition episode of Secret Garden (probably BTS and whatnot) next Saturday (22/1/2011) at 9 P.M.

"All good things come to an end" - but not in kdramaland, I believe. Something that ends always means a beginning of another. I finally caught up with MP, and I'm happy to report: I like it. It's still the level of "like" not "love" though, but that's not the drama's fault, I attribute it to the absence of the Binnie factor.

I love Lee Seol - she's really a metaphor for the sun; such a sunny and nothing-will-bring-me-down disposition. SSH on the other hand, erm...I find no faults in him -he's the cute goodie two-shoes. Therefore, Street Smart vs. Straightlaced = OTP. 

Although...something's been bothering me. Why Mr. Hand Towel? I'm missing an inside joke here, or is it some idiom I'm unaware of?

Anyway, let's take a walk down memory lane....

This is my favorite pic, the three of them having such camaraderie. Must be nice climbing up the mountain in such a happy atmosphere.

 Every now and then, female 2nd leads get a worthwhile character instead of a display-on-shelf. Kim Sa Rang is lucky. Let's hope Park Ye Jin gets her worth in MP too.

Spoiler In Words: Secret Garden Episode 19 & 20

If there's one drama I want an extension on, it would be this one. I know there's an unspoken kdrama law against this -if I were to put it into words it would be All Kdramas Extension Suck. But can a SG crack addict help what she feels? No siree. So help me out guys, what's the best substitute for Binnie?

Joo Won gazes at Ra Im's parting figure for a long time, but when she turns back and waves towards him so beautifully, he unconsciously grabs her and tells her he will give her a lift home. To which Ra Im replied, "Why did you came out so late? Come here quickly..." She then asks him to hand over his car keys (because she has an important meeting). Joo Won couldn't get a word in edgewise, he has forgotten all the things he wanted to say...(Ha! Another deja vu. Round two of a screaming Binnie, anyone?)


Spoiler In Words Episode 20

Director Park looks nervously at Joo Won sitting right across him. Joo Won gazes at him coldly. He asks him to go to the highest position, apart from his own (i.e JW's president/ C.E.O position). Seul hands Oska a schedule. Tae Ssun always browbeats Oska and TS sends him out on an errand. After Oska left and leaving the two behind, they begin to throw insults at each other (and Seul has an unexpected rival, hehehe).

SG Updates

(Updated!)

I thought I've turned jaded after my Taiwan trip. My SG friends were telling me, "Prepare to cry your eyes out for 17 and 18!" and I was like, "Where? When?" Is there something wrong with my tear ducts? I was extremely annoyed with the first half of episode 17 - enough with the Evil Mama and the victimized daughter-in-law, please. I was NOT impressed to say the least. But as soon as I was being smug over my newfound crybaby-no-more status, tears started to flow (more like gushed out) like a dam broken.

Second half was sooo sad - I can't remember why though, but how can I not when Binnie is crying? And then, after what seems like an enternity of melo and I was totally dehydrated, a 21-year-old Joo Won came. I never thought I would come to love amnesia story lines, but The Tracksuit came back. Hallelujah (and bye bye nasty purple lace)!
