Short Notice: You've Fallen For Me Kdrama & Park Shin Hye @TGC Festival

Just a few quickie updates on Park Shin Hye's latest drama project You've Fallen For Me: Based on an official statement release by her agency, it has an official English title now, it's a short "Heartstrings". Also, the first drama filming was supposed to be today (i.e 10/5/2011) but has since be cancelled due to bad weather conditions in Seoul. Ditto for the pig head's ceremony (i.e a ceremony to bless the drama).

Now let's move on to quickie #2: Park Shin Hye in Beijing for 2011's Tokyo Girls Collection Festival

On September 7, Park Shin Hye went to Beijing to attend 2011's TGC Festival and to serve as their model as well. The TCG Festival is a big deal in Japan and this year they decided to hold a special event for the whole of Asia in Beijing, and Park Shin Hye has been invited as a representative for South Korea. 

At the event held in Beijing's Wukesong Arena, other than Park Shin Hye, other celeb guests include Japan's Yamada Yu, Hasegawa Jun, Mai Kuraki, Karina Nose, China's Shang Wen Jie, Lu Yan, A Duo and Hong Kong's Kay Tse. More than 10 000 people is said to have attended the show.

After the event, Park Shin Hye and other celebs as well as Japan's former Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama attended the celebration dinner.

Jo In Sung returns with Black Yak photoshoot

Doesn't this man just oozes gentlemanly charm? Even dressed in climbing and mountaineering clothing, he does not look like he's roughing it AT ALL. He might as well be wearing a tux with that expression. In the next picture he tries for the "tough guy" image. *raises eyebrows*

Behold, Jo In Sung looking "fierce", with the theme of the photoshoot being "Modern and Limit". During the shooting he is seen breathing heavily at times, and sometimes leisurely wondering, interpreting the scenes just right. 

A member of the shooting crew said: "This is his first photoshoot after retirement, although at the beginning (he) was somewhat awkward, he quickly adapted and found his niche like the professional actor he is and is able to act very naturally; it's impressive. Especially with the long period of shooting when everyone is mentally and physically exhausted, he is still smiling and accommodating towards his photoshoot partner, (he's) a real lady killer."

LOL, I can so imagine that.

The Ultimate Bromance: Uhm Tae Woong & Sung Dong Il

We are treading on dangerous grounds here, this is not even bromance anymore! This is...this is...full blown man-love!

On the 5th, Uhm Tae Woong uploaded 2 photos on his Twitter with the caption: "We're both tired, that's why we love each other." Both were looking dog-tired as they stare into the camera. Then their lips got into position...

It's only 2mm apart! So close ∑(O_O；) I wonder, do they get into position first before closing their eyes? Because if you close them while you're at it, you might get some real ppo ppo *(kiss) action, hoho.


Looks like I'm not the only one wondering here, users comment include: "Don't tell me you really kissed?", "A scene of great visual impact, I was scared" and "Great performance! So funny" etc.


Currently the both of them are busy filming their upcoming movie Special Investigation Bureau.

I See Red: Shin Min Ah's Latest CF

Talk about red hot! This lady in red can sure teach a thing or two to the gumiho. What would Dae Woong say?

My favorite CF girl is back with Red CF for Mise En Scene, featuring one of their hair care products (serum? Don't know, don't care since there's no Mise En Scene in Malaysia anyway). 

Hands up if you thought that shampoo ads are heavily CGI'ed. Well guess what, reality may not be far off.

In fact, I'm starting to think that there's no CGI whatsoever. Could I be wrong all along about these ads? If she were an artist by the name of Justin Bieber, I would call myself a Belieber right now.

 Having major hair envy here. Red with envy.

Park Shi Hoo & Pet Cat

Park Shi Hoo, my favorite choco-abs man from mania drama Prosecutor Princess has recently uploaded a tweet of himself at home staring at his pet cat. What, is this a competition to see who has the most adorableness? (darn, I can't even get my grammar right when PSH is involved). 

In the photo, a casually dressed Park Shi Hoo is staring at his beloved pet cat Jami and later playing with it, showing fans an intimate side to his life we have never seen before. 


This is also the first time he has revealed the picturesque interior of his house to the public. Needless to say, the tweet was a big hit with the fans XD

Look What They Wore!

This post has absolutely no purpose whatsoever...well except maybe for the eye candy factor. Feel free to skip this post it if you have no interest in Jung Il Woo, Kim Sang Kyung or pretty people in pretty clothes (well, at least most of them look great). These are what the following k-stars wore to the opening ceremony for the 12th Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF).

Many photos here, but I barely recognize half the crowd. To me, that can only mean one thing...they don't do kdramas. Must be models/singers/MCs/pop idols or something. 

I LOVEEE the silhouette of this dress. Mermaid gowns are usually hit-or-miss, guessed she scored the jackpot with this one. 

She actually looks decent from the upper half, but it looks like someone couldn't decide whether they wanted to don flared pants or a mini. I say either way it's a disaster. 

This one actually shocked me, she looks like Attic Cat's Jung Da Bin! (RIP)

Wow...very ethereal. But imo her looks saved the dress, not really a fan of the upper half of it. 

Opting for a safe look with a simple maxidress. 

Again, simple. But perhaps out of the norm with the short cocktail party dress. 

This outfit would be a atrocious if not for the cinch detail at the abdomen. 

All in all, a glamourous afternoon outing :)

Jeon Ji Hyun For Guess

I guess I could name this post "Jeon Ji Hyun Shows Off S-line in Guess Jeans" or something, but that would be just unoriginal (besides, what exactly is an S-line anyway? ANYONE could have one if they just stick their chest and butt out. Even men.)

Jeon Ji Hyun has been my girl crush since forever, because there's no one who can pull off such a bratty yet likeable character like her. Imagine anyone else doing My Sassy Girl. The horrors!

Eun Jung Reveals A Creamy Face Kim Soo Hyun

Remember I said in my last SIW that my boy has grown up? Well, he literally has grown up! It was his birthday last Wednesday! Happy Birthday Sam Dong ah! *breaks into a belated b-day song*

Eun Jung tweeted on the 16th some pics of them celebrating Kim Soo Hyun's birthday on the set, with the message: "Wishing Song Sam Dong a Happy Birthday. Studio's busy but filled with warmth."

The article goes on to say how happy Sam Dong looks, but me thinks how happy can one be after being smoshed with cream? You be the judge.

Binnie At The Airport & BIFF

Photos galore! Hyun Bin leaves to Berlin for its 61st international film festival on the 15th with Come Rain, Come Shine co-star Im Soo-jung.

This is kinda irrelevant, but was reported as a news anyway: Believe it or not, this whole outfit costs approx. 10 million won. How they found the brand of each and every item he wore is beyond me; check it out (USD conversion in approximates):

Giorgio Brato vintage leather jacket - 1.71 million won (1 500 USD)

Alexander McQueen's printed tee - 350 thousand won (300 USD)
