Spoiler In Words: The Fierce Wife Ep.19 + Preview Vid

I took a peek at TFW's official website out of curiosity, and erm...why is Rui Fan and Wei En still in the picture?! Don't they know we don't give a damn about them anymore? Can't they just focus on An Zhen's new life? Jeez.
Little Tree (Xiao Shu) - Lara

~Tip Nineteenth: Fierce is having the courage to be yourself~
Rui Fan meets with a dead end looking for a job, and feels depressed.
He meets Ah Tang by chance. He finds out that Ah Tang's new job is involved in the planning of new TV programs, and they are looking for a woman who has both the beauty and the ability to whip up a good dish. Because of this Ah Tang is driven up the wall, and when Rui Fan hears about this he proposes An Zhen as a potential candidate to participate in the show!

After some pleading from Ah Tang, An Zhen finally succumbed to the request.
At the day of the recording, An Zhen arrives at the studio, only to bump into Ai Ling!
Things were going well, until the host asked An Zhen about her married life. An Zhen unknowingly teared up. The host ensures that this will not be aired, An Zhen cannot help but reveal the truth, her words: "Fierce is the courage to be yourself, and not be afraid!" These words touched not only Ai Ling present at the studio, but the audience as well...

Wei En sees the clip of An Zhen participating in the program, and misunderstands An Zhen.
She thinks that An Zhen purposely aired her dirty laundry to make Rui Fan and her look bad (hc: Dude, you were soiled to begin with). The disgruntled Wei En grumbles to Rui Fan, and it escalates to an argument between them.

When Wei En arrives home, she finds the paparazzi sneaking at the entrance, looking for more details on An Zhen's story. Wei En purposely tells a misleading story...

Spoiler In Words: The Fierce Wife Ep. 15 + Thank You Vid

Despite its storyline not going as I intended it to be, but this show has been garnering ratings, and I believe I know why: the acting is stellar, and you won't find any awkward acting by any of the cast members here. It's ratings are first in the nation! Woohoo~

An Zhen transforms into a beauty...
Like Audrey Hepburn.

An Zhen met with an accident in the midst of a test drive with a customer,
and is immediately sent into the emergency ward. Rui Xuan and Kang De tries to contact Rui Fan but to no avail, the unknowing Rui Fan spent the night beside Wei En...
And this is what I was waiting for throughout the series...
Tian Wei gets the news of An Zhen's accident and speedily went to the hospital, only to find An Zhen calling for Rui Fan in her sleep. Seeing her like that was extremely hard to bear. An Zhen slowly woke up and saw that it was not Rui Fan who took care of her through the night, but Tian Wei...

The Fierce Wife: If This Show Was A Person, I Would Punch Its Face

But this week looks pretty promising, finally An Zhen sees the light? (please Show, do not drag this any longer I beg you *on both knees*)
Rewind - Jolin Tsai (I first heard this on twdrama Say Yes Enterprise, thought it was freaking-tastic and then I found out it was written by Jay Chou and given to Jolin when they were still in a relationship together. No wonder.)

Sorry for the delay, it was crazy busy yesterday due to CNY, did not sleep and hence over-slept today =_="

~Tip Thirteen: Worse Than Cheating, It's Lying!~
Hair Like Snow - Jay Chou (I always had mixed feelings for this song, as it tells a tale of this guy's "true love", which is ok but it involves him cheating on another!)

An Zhen finally knows of the truth, and in order for things to go like they were with Rui Fan, she chooses to forgive him and pretend that nothing has happened. In fact, she's so calm Rui Fan does not suspect anything amiss.

Wei En is on leave for days, even until An Zhen and Rui Fan's anniversary, she is still missing work. Rui Fan is extremely worried, and could only suppress the impulse to call Wei En...
Ah Tang and Qi Qi went to visit Wei En who hasn't show up at the office for days. They found her sick at home, and hurriedly sent her to the hospital. The critically ill Wei En was only worried about one thing, and murmured to them: "Do not call Zhe Fu*(brother-in-law, i.e Rui Fan)...."

To celebrate their wedding anniversary, An Zhen prepared an array of delicious dishes for the whole family's get-together. When Rui Fan arrived at their home entrance, he gets a call from Ah Tang. Despite the whole family waiting for him at home, hearing Wei En's news he resolutely decides to turn back...
Everyone waited in vain for Rui Fan's arrival, especially An Zhen who's broken hearted. Under the gloomy atmosphere, dad gets a heart attack and is rushed to the hospital!

Spoiler In Words: The Fierce Wife Episode 11 + Preview Vid

Despite being anti-OTP in the show, this feeling doesn't extend to real life. James Wen is looking mighty fine with his Wook Gi hairdo, as he hands out ang pows (red envelopes containing $$) to the crowd at the open market.

O, looking at these pics remind me of my trip to Taiwan recently. Those yummy dried grilled squids!

Venue: Dihua Street in Taipei
With Chinese New Year just two weeks away, people are busy doing preparations for it now, such as spring cleaning, shopping for new clothes (preferably red), making cookies et cetera. K-addicts too, be prepared for a week of no dramas whatsoever as Koreans have their own version of CNY.

Sampling some drinks offered at the market:

Sampling some food:
You betcha the store's gonna display a "so-and-so went to my store" promo photos after this. Did I tell you about the store I went to in Taiwan that had Chow Yun Fat's photo with the owner? I'll show you in my Part II post, later (havta get my 500+ photos from the trip organized).

The photogenic duo:

The Yum-O squid I was talking about! Yum...

Drooling right now...

Rui Fan: Eh, wifey, you shouldn't pack too much squid in one packet. You'll make the owner lose money.
An Zhen: I got it, I'm The Fierce Wife after all, y'know?

Haih, why couldn't I have met them at the market?

~Tip Eleven: I Just Want A Perfect Memory~
Rui Xuan couldn't bear looking at the lethargic An Zhen at work, and she enlists the help of Tian Wei to convince An Zhen to buy a car. They went for a test drive, but An Zhen is absent minded as she's distracted with the problems going on with Rui Fan. Tian Wei gets mad at her couldn't-care-less attitude and decides to pull a trick on her.

Wei En tells Rui Fan that she has decided to go back to the US, but before she leaves she hopes that he will give her a perfect memory - in a form of a trip together.

The new Marketing Director has just assumed his post and he has summoned for the worst performing sales rep. Among those are last-placer An Zhen and old-timer Rui Xuan. Both of them were alarmed, but when they reached there, they saw a familiar face - Lan Tian Wei!

Tian Wei ordered: In order for them to keep their jobs they will have to meet some stringent conditions, and the "stringent condition" turn out to be...
At night, Rui Fan and Wei En are sleeping on the same bed, their backs to each other, and each could not fall asleep...Wei En hugs him from behind and said: "Jie Fu*, can I...for the last time, I want to make you happy..."
Chloe Says: "Jie Fu" sort of means brother-in-law, but to be more specific it means older sister's husband. What a thing to say huh?

TFW: Funny Stories BTS + Ep.9 Preview

You should know by now and I'll say it again: This blog ain't PG-13. So *shoo* little boys and girls!
This is what qualifies as a "rape" scene, people. But luckily a woman is the one doing the act, so feminists can't complain, heh.
Announcement: The Fierce Wife FB page passed the 10 000 fans mark last week. The "couple" is estatic, to say the least:

Taiwan's favorite supermodel, Sonia Sui:
TFW Producer, Sis Pei Hua said: The "7" gesture is in hope that'll it will break the ratings ★,:*:‧( ̄▽ ̄)/‧:*‧°★*

Sign meet for TFW fans:

That must be the producer Sis Pei Hua, haha:

A message to fans from the couple:
"If you have any questions for us, please feel free to ask us in TFW Facebook. We will try our best to answer your enquiries."

TFW co-stars exchange Christamas presents
LOOL my tummy is aching from too much laughter, no doubt the neighbours think I'm a loony right now:

LOL, they just crack me up; Sonia Sui and James Wen -one of my all time favorite onscreen couples.

His gift to her: A heart shaped pillow
Her gift to him: A scarf

When asked by reporters if the gifts bear any special meaning, James Wen replied that because he's a bad guy in the show, the least he could do is be a nice guy outside the show and give her a gift from the bottom of his "heart".
Sonia's reply on the reason for the gift: "The scarf is given in hope that there'll be no animosity between us because of this drama. Though in context of the drama, it is to "strangle" him. Very convenient."
Reporter's question to Sonia: "You said that you were
uncomfortable with James Wen during the filming of TFW. Why is that so?"

Sonia's reply (look at James during her reply, his facial expressions are priceless!):
"Because the filming is done everyday, and the script was so good it made me fall into the character easily. I'm the type who can't control her emotions very well, hence I don't feel charitable around him, especially on-set.
I'll think to myself, "This guy is...a BASTARD"
She then clarifies that it's only her feeling as her character, and it's completely different in real life. She pacifies him by saying it's because he's a very good actor, therefore she was able to slip in character easily.
Reporter (to James Wen): " During the filming, have you felt that Sonia was treating you differently?"

James: "That's why I avoided the girls. While they were on the 2nd floor, I went to the 3rd floor to "repent". I was rehearsing the script by myself."
His message to the boys: "If you can't afford to "play" the game, don't." He continued jokingly, "Unless you're Kang De (his bro-in-law in the show) *laughs*, Kang De who can face this things lightly."
