A Joint Binnie and Song Hye Kyo News

[To Anonymous: Apparently Binnie did mention SHK on Taxi, so you can be rest assured (or not?). He frankly admitted on the show that "he is dating someone". ] You know I love my mash-ups, it saves space and (your) effort too! Tell me, who doesn't love a 2-in-1 news?

Song Hye Kyo releases photo book
Song Hye Kyo return to her fans with breathtaking photos. With the world as her backdrop (featuring her world travels/work), her photobook Moment, Song Hye Kyo will be released on the 28th.

This photo album holds holds a special significance in many ways. It is not a simple photo collection, but a formal photobook (and the difference is...more pictures?). Song Hye Kyo is the first actress who has come up with a photobook. Previously, male actors' photobooks that became bestsellers include Bae Yong Jun and So Ji Sub.

Proceeds from the sales will be donated to UNICEF. This limited edition book is only restricted to 2000 copies, and half of it is already booked for overseas.

After her drama with current boyfriend, Hyun Bin on 2008's The World That They Lived In, she has rarely appeared, be it variety shows or in public. This has lead to all kind of speculations.

But that does not mean she's not working on anything. She has been dabbling in small-scaled experimental work, establishing her worth as a "serious" actress. One of her movies, Camellia has been featured in Pusan International Film Festival last year and she has been working alongside Kang Dong Won in Love For Sale. She has also participated in international projects such as America's independent film, Fetish and renowned director Wong Kar-wai's The Grand Master. For the projects she has been travelling overseas for months at times. Among them being the Netherlands, Paris, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Patagonia - the southernmost portion of South America, Brazil, Atlanta and New York.

Wowza. She has been busy.

Hyun Bin To Enlist on the 7th of March
A person from the Marines administration has confirmed on the 19th: "Hyun Bin has been admitted." Another senior officer said that he performed well in his physical test. But first he has to undergo basic training for 5 weeks starting on the 7th before being officially admitted to the Marines.

Trivia: Did you know? Comedian/singer Lee Jung is a full-fledge Marine.
Eh, I need a moment to digest this. I'm so used to seeing him with his Gag Team 3 members - Country Kko Kko's Shin Jung Hwan (a.k.a. Chicken Legs) and Koyote's Kim Jong Min (a.k.a. Loser Who Always Gets Dumped By The Girls) that it's hard to see him as a manly man. He tweeted his orchid calligraphy art recently (this reminds me of a drama, was it in Sassy Girl Chun Hyang? *scratch head*):
Lee Jung Hee, or better known as Lee Jung, enlisted in October 2008 and completed his service in August last year. Salute!

Spoiler In Words for Fugitive: Plan B Episode 19

Chairman Yang's son, who'd earlier expressed his intentions to retire from the political arena, finally showed his true colors. Ji Woo and Jin Yi were wounded from the attacks and sent to the hospital. Nevertheless they kept searching for opportunities to counterattack (and it looks like they even found the opportunity to sneak in some romance).

With Chairman Yang's disappearance, his men are captured one by one. Kai found Hwang Mi Jin who had survived the sniper attack, and accepts her proposal (I don't know what's the proposal, but NOT the marriage kind o'course).

I don't know who THAT is, but he sure looks like TOP.

Do Soo and police girlfriend manage to recover part of a conversation from a recorder destroyed by Yang Young Joon. They set out to search for Hwang Mi Jin's assistant.

Around The Globe: Rain & His Martial Arts Guides

Rain and Sensei in Japan

This pictures are from the earlier episodes when Rain was busy fighting off Lee Jung Jin all around the world. I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking it was weird seeing them at one tourist destination after another, but never mind that, there's no mountain I can't climb, no plot holes I can't jump over for Rain. And Lee Jung Jin. AND Daniel Henney.

Rain in the Philippines. Don't you think the MA director looks like HK actor Mark Cheng in this shot?

As for this shot...

O_O Okay, someone please tell me I did not just see k-actor Lee Seon-kyun?

Spoiler In Words for Fugitive: Plan B Ep. 18

Yesss! I have been keeping this adorable picture of him for so long and I can finally put it to good use now. *cough* Anyway here's the sneak peek at what's to come:

After Yang Young Joon went to see his father Chairman Yang, the father and son are positively enemies now (at least one of them has a conscience, harrumph).

The son meets Jin Yi and reveals the existence of the gold to the public, and sincerely apologize and begs for the forgiveness of his father's sins.
Jin Yi and Ji Woo goes to the office to find the gold bars; Nakamura Hwang and James Bong is there and they exchange death glares.

Meanwhile, Sophie attempts to save Kai and meets Chairman Yang for the last time...

Chloe Says: I've been dutifully following this show, and although the fanfare isn't as great as the others, it doesn't make it any less fun to watch. I've heard quite a lot of ppl saying it's cheesy, but perhaps it's because I grew up with HK movies, I don't quite get where the cheese is.

We never question why the hero doesn't get shot at, or the "dush-dush" sound effects when they have a hand-to-hand combat. Don't ask, it just is (in fact, I feel like there's something missing if there isn't a dush-dush sound). But Indian action heroes are even better, they can get shot NUMEROUS times, all sexy bloodied but still manage to fight of all the baddies. Swoon!

Although, there's one thing that have been gnawing at the back of my mind, why is it that in the show EVERYONE speaks a different language but they seem to understand what the other is talking about? Telepathy ala Hana & Vietnam Girl in Flowers For My Life?

Rain's Tango Partner is Daniel H.

*poof* The sound you barely heard just now is just me having a simultaneous combustion and evaporate into the air. Handsome, meet cute. hellochloe's thoughts are going wild again and I'm all fired up to do a fanfic.

Scenario: Kai, who couldn't deny his love for Ji Woo, dumped Jini and runaways (pun!) with his detective lover. Oooh~ I like where this is going. It suits the whole fugitive theme ;D

But onscreen, things are not all lovey dovey for the boys. They give each other intense (and delicious) death glares and it's the battle of the dudes. With 3 episodes to go, you can expect tensions between the two to run an all-time high. Love triangles are about dick waving after all.

Although they're Best Enemies in the drama, turns out it's really quite the opposite off-screen. For the drama's photoshoot, they seem closer than anyone else on the set, and also joked non-stop.

Chloe Says: Lee Jung Jin at the background is looking good too. But his policewoman girlfriend's dress is a pink wreck (to me at least). And why is his suit half off?
