I'll bluntly admit this: The reason why I wanted to translate this song is because this is the only way I can justify posting this cover since I can't post any spoilers for Midas since it has already ended (>.<")

While watching Midas, many has complained that he looks too girly but that's okay 'cause I happen to like bishounens (that extends to Ricky as well). But I do confess everytime I see Ricky I'm thinking why is he doing brokerage stuff when he should be doing CK ads or something. Perhaps it's the mixed blood, like Tiffany in DTLY (though she is less conspicuous since she speaks only in Chinese).

Notes: Although the accepted En title for this song seems to be "Can I Love You?" in the lyrics I have altered it to "may" since he's asking for permission to love the girl and "can" in the context is like him wondering whether he is able to love, and that is not the case.

I must say Midas isn't attracting my attention much, a business show about M&A's? The only reason I could entice myself to watch it is that it might help my understanding for my accountancy studies. BUT (there always are exceptions) Jang Hyuk! He wouldn't pick this if the script is sucky, right? 

Sigh. The usual terms: Watching 2 eps to test the waters; may extend to four eps. BUT! If I get the faintest whiff of Hotelier, I'll be out faster than you can say Midas.

OMG OMG OMG I just realized something...I saw this newspaper cutting in Midas's Official Website and was freaked out by the Malay words staring back at me! Why, isn't that...a MALAYSIAN newspaper? Oh yes it is! If I'm not wrong Jang Hyuk went to Malaysia somewhere during January (newspaper is dated 22 January 2011).

Headline on the right: The popular actor from Busan, South Korea holds the wish to penetrate the Hollywood market because he believes, it's nothing impossible if an actor is good enough.

Lee Min-jung in all her wedding splendor

For her upcoming show, Midas perhaps?

Nah - me thinks not, it's most likely for a CF or something. She updated photos of her in a strapless wedding gown on her minihompy on the 20th, eliciting many favorable comments from the netizens on how she looked in that wedding dress. 


I must say I'm not really looking forward to Midas, I've got enough gambling subplots from All In already, so thanks but no thanks. But then I sooooo love the cast. Lee Min-jung is my girl crush and Jang Hyuk is my man crush. So how can I not check this out? Gah, darn you two good lookin' people! 


SBS's Mon-Tue drama, Midas will be premiering on the 21st of February.
