Spoiler In Words: Lie To Me Episode 11 & 12

This is so, SO unfair. WHY must the week that I'm having exams be the week where the mostest interesting stuff happens? *pouts*

On board the swaying ship on sparkling waters, Ki Joon stumbled his away into a corner of a deck, looking like he's about to barf. A hand pats him at the back! It's Ah Jung. 

She snorts, saying that even the great President Hyun of World Hotel will show such a weak side to people (only to you, baby) and wonders aloud why he followed her here if he can't handle it (only for you, baby).

Upon their arrival at Jeju, Ah Jung and Ki Joon walked down a quiet path with lush palm trees. There's a limo, and there is even a mini-bar with all sorts of alcoholic beverages inside! A gorgeous basket of flowers and fruits can also be seen. 


Spoiler In Words Episode 12 
Ah Jung was unpacking her luggage when a tiara fell out. She picks it up, a heavy expression crossed her face because she met with Yoon Joo. 

Ah Jung gets a text message on her phone, and she finds out that it's Ki Joon: "Goodnight. Dream of me 'kay?" Ah Jung smiles and replies: "Go sleep. Let's meet in our dreams." She places the tiara on a soft-toy's head.


On the other hand, the World Group's Ki Joon's aunt, Ki Joon, Manager Park and several director sits opposite Chairman Chen and his people. Both sides are happy with the results and there's a pleasant atmosphere in the room, however Ki Joon's expression is solemn. Everyone applauds, Ki Joon looks on at them. 

At the end of the session, everyone is about to get up and leave when Ki Joon rose and looks at Chairman Chen. Everyone looks at him, wondering what he is up to...

It's Jeju-do love mode again, the island where most of the OTPs go for to further develop their relationship. 

As the title of this post suggests (and judging from the length of the spoiler), this is NOT the official SIW but I think it's got credit (I mean, how wrong can it get right? It's only two sentences). Someone from dc must have seen the OTP filming there, lucky noms :D

A new project commences at Jeju Island, the government sends assistance to help out over there. Hyun Ki Joon and Gong Ah Jung develops a love story in Jeju-do.

Spoiler In Words: Lie To Me Episode 9 & 10

Ah...me noes now why Ah Jung wear such lousy clothes. At first I thought it was LTM's wardrobe stylist's "unique" sense of fashion which made our heroine goes to work like it's Casual Friday, EVERYDAY. But no sireee, it's to show her growth, to show that she gets over him, show that she is doing fine and looks even more gorgeous post-Ki Joon, before the guy regrets it and works hard to sweep her off her feet again. 

Mwahaha. I love this sort of storylines. 

Spoiler In Words Episode 9

Sitting opposite Ki Joon are an ashen-faced group of old shareholders, he throws the report at them and angrily asked him whether they are taking Gold Resort as a joke. After they left after bowing to him, he sighs and picked up his phone. 

It was at this moment when Yoon Joo's call came in, Ki Joon hesitated for awhile before picking up. After he declined a lunch date with Yoon Joo, Manager Park who's by his side sees that his expression remained conflicted. The phone rings again, and it's still Yoon Joo. 

Ki Joon just looks at the phone, unwilling to pick up. Suddenly someone walks in, and it's Yoon Joo with her phone pressed to her ear! (WHO the heck let her in?!!). As they walk side by side, Yoon Joo playfully clings on to his arm. Ki Joon pulls away, but Yoon Joo continues on with her playfulness (ugh. *puke puke*), and clings on to him. Seeing his expression as if something's wrong, she looks in front and it is So Ran...

SIW Episode 10

Ki Joon gets up from the table with the foreigner and left without a glance at Ah Jung. But Ki Joon's appearance is unsightly. Park Hoon and Lee Young gets up when they see him; Park Hoon wants to know what is going on with Ki Joon lately. Ki Joon walks up to his office's door and stop in his tracks, hesitating whether he should open it.

On the other hand, Ah Jung's walking, a tired expression on her face when she bumps into Manager Park. The hotel manager tells her that she saw her grabbing Ki Joon the day before. Ah Jung replied, telling her that she already knows she saw it. It became awkward between the two, and Ah Jung hopes that Manager Park would just pretend that she didn't see her.

There's always the title of The Show With The Hottest Kiss Ever, but is there one for The Show With The Most Scenes Of The Hottest Kisses Ever? If there isn't, we should really make a category for that now, with all the upcoming kisses LTM plans to bedazzle us with.

Yoon Joo hears from Sang Hee that Ki Joon was sent to the hospital. When she arrived at the hospital, Yoon Joo looked at Ki Joon with a pitying expression when she saw him lying on the bed. It was at this moment when Sang Hee came in, and he jokes around as if nothing has ever happened. Seeing him behaving this way, Ki Joon and Yoon Joo felt even more awkward. 


Yoon Joo's handphone rings, and she is about to head out to answer it when Ah Jung showed up outside the door. Ah Jung sees Yoon Joo and panicked, checking the door again to confirm that it has Ki Joon's name on it. It was only after seeing Ki Joon on the bed that Ah Jung was sure she wasn't at the wrong place.


Ah Jung goes into the room and Yoon Joo goes out, the two brushed each other and Yoon Joo inexplicably felt vulnerable. 


On the other hand: At the coffee shop, So Ran is glaring at Ah Jung who is reading the menu, hoping she would fill her in on what happened. Even with So Ran chasing after her for answers, Ah Jung is still beating around the bush with her replies...


Chloe Says: And may I comment on the kiss-to-be: Look! His! Finger Hands! On! Her! Head! Tomorrow cannot come any sooner.

Ki Joon and Ah Jung kissed! After the kiss was over, the two of them are still staring at each other. That scene of the two falling in love with each other, So Ran witnessed it all; adding to that list is Jae Bum! It was right at this moment when the doorbell rang, and both Ki Joon and Ah Jung jumped in surprise. Even the bystander So Ran was surpised too! 

As if being caught doing something bad, two of them recovered themselves from their surprise. Couldn't look anywhere and feeling confused; quickly ran to the intercom, where a surprising guest has come for a visit. 


On the other hand, Sang Hee is smiling as he flips through the elementary school yearbook, looking at how cute and pretty Yoon Joo is when she was small. At this moment, Yoon Joo who has just got off the car sees a smiling Sang Hee, and could not help but mutter...


Chloe Says: "...could not help but mutter" sounds like we've uncovered Yoon Joo's bitchy side. But I'm probably just wishing for it lol.

After translating 3 episodes of Spoilers for Lie To Me, I can definitely say this: This SIW writer is like no other. It's basically a narration of a video with a duration of say, 5 minutes. It's so detailed I actually DON'T want to know some details. LOL, hard to explain but you'll get it when you read all the mundane stuff in the following paragraphs:

When the door bursts open, Ah Jung quickly rushes to the elevator. Sang Hee stood at the door, pouting as he watches Ah Jung. He thinks her very interesting indeed (yup checked all boxes for Kdrama Second Lead - I say he is very doomed for "A Playboy's Sincere But Unrequited Love" in this relationship). 

At home, Ki Joon is using his espresso machine to brew coffee. Holding a coffee at the dining table, he's reading the newspaper that he just brought in. His handphone rings, and it's Park Hoon. His assistant reports to him, telling him: "Miss Gong Ah Jung has checked out 30 minutes ago. And it looks like there's a man with her.

The upset Ki Joon replied, reprimanding him: "What the heck are you doing? This is the privacy of the hotel guests." But when his assistant hangs up, he's so distraught he couldn't even pay attention to the newspaper he was reading anymore. In fact, he was thinking about last night, how Ah Jung's eyes were when she pleaded to him.

On the other hand, The Ministry Of Culture and Tourism's department is extremely busy. At the Tourism Promotion Division, Manager Ahn who walked into the office sees Ah Jung's empty desk and laments on how capricious she is...

Chloe Says: Aside from the random details of espresso machine and newspapers and dining tables, I say this SIW is an overall jjiang! I could totally imagine the perky "innocent" (I'm still trying to decide whether he is faking it or not) assistant Park Hoon goading on Ki Joon, always ends up riling him "unintentionally". LOOOL. He's their cupid in the OTP's relationship (like SG's Oska!)

Under infuriating circumstances caused by So Ran, Ah Jung happens to see Ki Joon passing by at that moment. She goes and call out, "Honey, I'm here!". Hearing that Ki Joon's face froze, the smile on his face gone. In shock to hear that, So Ran and her husband turns around to see what's going on while Ah Jung smiles triumphantly. 

But Ah Jung soon realizes her mistake when her eyes met with Ki Joon's, whose eyes are burning with anger. Not only that, the whole crowd along the corridor is looking at her. 

On one hand, Ah Jung enters while following the officers, using her clothes to conceal herself as she fears she would bump in to Ki Joon. Although apprehensive about the staff and guests around her, she is relieved when she thinks it will all be over once she gets to the elevator. Unexpectedly (not) though, she sees Ki Joon who is inside the elevator. Ah Jung feels like she has been electrocuted, frozen in place...

In a room where the sign "Top Lawyer Jung" is hanging from, the place is a total ruckus with a crowd of people gathering there. Park Hoon who is looking for Lawyer Jung is surprised, wondering what is going on. He spots a middle-aged woman with a dominating figure wearing a fierce expression, and next to her was Lawyer Jung, looking like a clueless dwarf in comparison. 


Turns out that the crowd had gathered because the middle-aged woman's lawsuit did not turn out as expected. No one could comfort her, hence they just stood idly by. 

On the other hand, Ki Joon and Park Hoon met at the entrance and came in together. The staff who sees Ki Joon gave him an odd glance and started to whisper amongst themselves. When he had demanded that the staff tell him who is behind such rumors, but they seem utterly confused facing those orders.

I'm not sure I understand what's going on here. I mean, WHO in their right mind would call Yoon Eun Hye an ahjumma? There's gotta be some major transformation going on in the drama, 'cause from the posters she looks like one hot chick to me.

Yoon Eun Hye Goes Both Ways

Yoon Eun Hye did a photoshoot for Puma's 2010 Winter Collection recently, and the theme seems to be Betty vs. Veronica. On one half there's the Girl Next Door and the other latter half is more alluring, exotic and edgy. 

Sure, high fashion may be in right now, like how black is forever cool and chic, but the girly girl in me prefer the pink ones. Yes, I confess: My favorite color is pink. PINK. Go ahead, snark all you want. My inner 8-year-old forgives you.
