Spoiler In Words: Marry, Me Mary! Ep. 15 + X-mas Greetings From JGS

First posted: (14/12/2010), Edited (25/12/2010)
HOLEY M...You wouldn't believe it even if I told you. Heck, even I don't believe it myself. Santa came to me 4 o'clock in the morning today. He made Writer Go revise the plot for Episode 15. THAT made this groggy-eyed hellochloe wide awake at 6 in the morning.
No new news as to what is it so far, it's only a notice stating to the effect that the spoiler is in revision. I don't know much about the technicalities about producing a drama, but if they were to change it isn't it a wee bit late?

Thus my conclusion that it will be more of an editing change rather than a re-filming one. Which drives me crazy, 'cause now it's potentially shittier than before (bad plot and now choppy editing?!!). I wasn't actually that surprised over this storyline. Perhaps I stopped caring about this drama as a whole, what I gave a damn about was the three leads there, and now that this is happening, I'm quite worried for them...

Thinking Mary would wait for him, Mu Gyul was confused to see her together with Jung In. He's unsure of her feelings for him.

Mu Gyul couldn't fathom, did he sold out himself and his music for Mary? Seeing how they had went through some rough patches together, how could she change into an entirely different person overnight and happily spend time with Jung In?

Mary explained that she went to ask Jung In for a divorce, but no matter how she explained to him, he would not believe it.

Meanwhile, Jung In wishes for Mary to understand his true feelings for him, he hopes the JI workshop will bring them closer together. At the workshop, people keep pairing Mary and Jung In together, and that made her feel uncomfortable with Jung In.

Seo Joon tells her not to stay in between Jung In and Mu Gyul anymore. Mary is in pain trying to sort out her own feelings. She went up the mountain and told herself she wouldn't hurt Mu Gyul anymore: She would go back to the time before she loved him.

Seeing Mary like this, Jung In knows he wouldn't be able to reach her with his feelings. He says he wishes for things to be the way it was; on the way home...

The sky is turning darker, and the both of them get lost.

Mu Gyul who finds that they are not back yet, ran to the workshop in a huff.
Jung In sees Mary slipping, he hugs her and they roll downhill together...

Chloe Says: Oooh what is with this climatic development; I feel like I'm climbing up a mountain myself. Most importantly: How are they going to tie things up in time?

At the beginning of M3, I've predicted that Mary would end up being independent (like Mary's wish in the start of the series: graduate and live well with her father) before she meets Mu Gyul again.

But this thought o'mine was promptly shot down by my soompi friends, so I forgot about it myself. Now that this is happening, one can't help but wonder...
hellochloe wishes you a very Merry Christmas too!

A very festive video; Christmas greetings from Kim Hyo Jin and Jang Geun Seuk (sorry no MGY):

  2. No, it's not. I think the chi version was poor itself, judging from the chi phrase you left out:-/

Thank you for staying with Mary till the end. I'm really glad I'm not the only one here:X

  4. LOL I understand where you're coming from Lizzy. Many people are nuts/crazy/mad/angry over this development. I, on the other hand, can't wait to see how M3 will throw more drama at me. I'm a masochist viewer, you see. I like to :-o :-t :(( =(( and finally go 8-} in dramas.

  5. NO!!! It's a good thing I don't live in Korea because there would be a violent crime committed this very night, and no writer for Tues's finale. And it does NOT make me feel better to know that all the angst is going to be for naught because there will be a happy ending. I am not a masochist like you. There's a reason I watch rom coms and not the sappy stuff.

  6. @LizzyD:

Okay Lizzy, I don't want you turning into some sort of criminal, so why don't you watch the BTS of Ep 15 only (if they have one) and I'll inform you whether 16 is safe to watch.

Rom Coms lots o'angst too you know (remember DGCH OTP that had to be separated for YEARS?) But I'm curious, what do you want 15 and 16 to be like? As in your dream storyline?

  7. Are you serious? MG doesn't believe in Mary and gets mad at her AGAIN? what the heck? does MG seriously not have a brain? its not like she's always lying to him. her loyalty to him is amazing. aahhh this kind of angst is not working for me. this show is driving me up the wall. and i hope mary ends up with JI. im liking him so much more than MG.

  8. @Chloe - I don't expect them to sit around and roast chestnuts and sweet potatoes for the final 2 episodes. I was also joking about my hatred of angst and I like pretty tears too, within reason. I just don't want a storyline that is written by some lunatic who appears to have forgotten to take her meds. The writer is turning the characters we love into a joke. Making Mary "waver" at this point nullifies everything that she ever was made out to be- her loyalty, steadfastness, warmth, and honesty. Jealous Mu Gyul is reverting back to his old ways, destroying all the growth he appeared to have made during the past few eps. And turning JI into a clingy bastard this late in the game makes me lose respect for him and no longer want the happy, non-Mary ending I dreamed of for him.

  9. @Lizzy: I was so sorry before to be the bringer of bad news for you. Looks like your (and many fans') dream come true?

Plot is currently in revision, but frankly, is things going to get any better? Let's hope for the best:)]

  13. Chloe- I was totally joking about you ruining my Xmas. I like your cute blog. I blame it all on psychotic writer and all the people who didn't stand up and tell her the script sucked and please change it. I think everyone is speculating that changes are being made, but it's not been confirmed, right? My opinion is that the preview just highlighted all the "dramatic" moments and the idiot who posted it thought it would pull viewers in. I doubt they expected the resulting riot. So I'm no too hopeful that there will be much (if any) improvement. Happy Holidays Chloe!!

  14. I know, I know (that you were joking). I find my attentions has turn towards the manhwa. For once, the real thing is less makjang than the drama.

Happy hols to you to dear, let's see what Monday has in store for us.
