Jang Geun Seuk Cries For Real

In KBS 2TV's Mary Stayed Out All Night that broadcasted on November 30th, Jang's character proposes to break up with Mary shortly after he witnesses Mary and Jung In kissing.

The Mu Gyul who would let anyone into his arms but not his heart, experiences real love for the first time (but of course he himself is oblivious to it) through Mary when he feels heartache and his mind in chaos over the matter.
The original script only required him to look pained and give a sigh but Jang Geun Seuk took it up a notch with real tears instead. Now there's a real professional for you! *applause*

Chloe Says: Me thinks he totally did that as to not lose to MGY (have you seen those teary eyes? How is it possible for a human being to hold so much tears without shedding it? Phenomenal!).
I thank the dramalords everyday for the GeunGeun couple. If it weren't for them, this drama with a tepid storyline as its base would have collapsed faster than you can say Ma-ry.

But somehow miraculously, they turned it into something that makes my heart warm and fuzzy. I root for them, I cheer for them, I worry for them...the two might be the best drama couple yet for 2010 (although I do think that Kim Jae Wook's kiss was hotter).

  4. :X:X:X:X LOVE MGY AND JGS!!! I remember after watching "You're Beautiful" I thought to myself JGS and PSH looks good together and I love PSH but then my mind started wondering off and tried to see who else would look good and have good chemistry with JGS and I realize who better than my ultime favorite MGY :D:D

Then I started seeing the two hosting award shows and thought they definitely need to be on a drama or movie together. Then I saw "Cinderella's Sister" and she was brilliant there as always ;) And really wished, hoped that it happens few months later and here we are! LOVE,LOVE, LOVE THEM AND THE SHOW!!! And I was right match made in heaven!!! :X:X:X :-*

  5. @karinna: LOL, you have vision!;) I'll be the first to admit I had trouble seeing MGY as an adult woman (I kept seeing her as the 'lil sis in Autumn In My Heart):p

Even in CS, I thought she look like a child playing grown up. Well not anymore, this drama has convinced me otherwise!:D

  6. @chloeplus: Vision or whishful thinking lol. At first I thought exactly the same but ever since the choices she made for her movie roles and the older leading men she's had I started seeing her in a different light.

Especially when she did the drama "Painter Of The Wind" she completely blew me away and has moved on from being the "lil sis".

I love Cinderella's Sister. I would have to say that's my favorite of hers pure drama wise:D I can honestly say she made me cry :(( every episode.

For cute/funny drama definitely hands down my favorite is "Mary Stayed Out All Night". :)) :))

Thank you for all the updates! You're awesome ;) Oh episode 8 is on in a few minutes :D Gotta go! Keep up the good work :D Take care!
